Developing AI Apps and Agents on Azure

This exam tests your ability to develop AI apps and AI agents on Azure using Microsoft Foundry. The focus is on development and implementation, working with generative AI, prompt engineering, and agent-based architectures.

You are tested on building, deploying, and monitoring AI solutions, including using foundation models, orchestration, multimodal capabilities, and integration with external data and tools.

The exam also covers resource management, performance, security, and responsible AI, including evaluating model output and governing solutions in production.

The exam is scenario-based and requires hands-on experience with Azure AI services and with developing end-to-end AI solutions – from idea to production-ready deployment.

It is aimed at developers and AI engineers who work hands-on building and implementing modern AI solutions rather than primarily designing the architecture.
