Gain sought-after cybersecurity skills

Malware
Malware is unwanted, malicious software, and the term covers spyware, ransomware, viruses and worms. When a user clicks a malicious link or email, a malware program is installed on the computer.
Malware can restrict and exploit the user's access to a network and, for example, steal data and confidential information.
Social Engineering
Social engineering is when cybercriminals trick or manipulate employees at a company into revealing confidential information or data, most often to gain access to IT systems.
Examples include phishing emails, scareware and quid pro quo. Social engineering is very often a factor and a means of launching cyberattacks.
DDoS attacks
A DDoS attack overwhelms an organization's IT systems and network with traffic, and through malware or hacking it can make computers on the network perform tasks without the user noticing.
We are seeing more examples of artificial intelligence (AI) being used in DDoS attacks. You can compare the impact of a DDoS attack to bumper-to-bumper traffic on your network.
