A unique course experience
At SuperUsers, IT is more than 0s and 1s - it's also about people.
A superuser is someone who is an expert in a program or technology, and who shares their knowledge and helps others get started. That's why we're SuperUsers.
Step inside SuperUsers

COURSES THAT DEVELOP YOUR PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND CREATE VALUE FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION
At SuperUsers, we are passionate about IT, and we have been since 1984. Today, we run IT courses and certify IT professionals at our course locations near Hillerød and Aarhus. We also offer consulting services that can help IT departments find the right solutions.
It's important (and fun!) to keep your skills up to date so you can take on new tasks and responsibilities. We take pride in making sure our participants go home with useful practical knowledge and tools, so they can apply what they learned on the course directly in their day-to-day work. That benefits both them and their organization.

IT TAKES A BREAK FROM YOUR DAILY ROUTINE TO LEARN NEW ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
There are many ways to learn new things, but they all have one thing in common: you can't get around putting in the time. That's why it's important to spend that time in a way that gives you the greatest possible professional benefit. Experience shows that it can often be hard to reach your goals through self-study and e-learning when work is going full speed.
With an in-person course at SuperUsers, you get the time and focus to build your skills in a field where you and your organization want expertise. We believe in apprenticeship, where you are inspired and guided by the best in the industry.
Our mantras
IT as an apprenticeship
We see a course as an apprenticeship. You spend a few days with an experienced instructor who is passionate about passing on their knowledge. That is our job, and we take it very seriously.
A break from the everyday
When you're learning something new, having the time and peace to really focus is worth its weight in gold. At SuperUsers, we've created the perfect setting for learning, with everything taken care of, from good food and refreshments to free parking.
Expertise and teaching go hand in hand
We have brought together the most skilled communicators and technical experts, who know their subject matter inside out and are up to date on the latest technologies, while also being able to teach in a way that is both instructive and inspiring.
Guaranteed to run means peace of mind for your calendar
When you sign up for a course, you should be able to count on attending as planned. That's why more than 1,000 IT courses every year are guaranteed to run, so you can sign up with confidence.
IT is also about people
At SuperUsers, it's not just about IT, it's about people. Good relationships and dialogue between the instructor and the participants are the best path to new skills and career development.
The value of an in-person course
When you are physically present, you are also much more mentally present. In an in-person course, you enter a learning space with other participants, and you learn a great deal in a short time.
Where you'll take your course
We know that unique surroundings contribute to unique learning. Come on in.
The SuperUsers story
1984 SuperUsers is founded ...
In the summer of '84, Brian and his good friend Steen Rønsberg came up with the idea of memorizing the UNIX manuals. They put on UNIX uniforms (UNIX stickers on shirts and caps), packed the trunk of the MG with a tent and UNIX manuals, and set out into the wide world.
They set off from DTU, where the old professors shook their heads. What was this newfangled nonsense? Their route took them past Steen's grandfather on Funen, among other places. Grandpa thought they were a couple of fine, spirited boys. Along the way, Brian and Steen slept in the tent they had brought. They crammed day and night. They had to know UNIX inside out, because they had agreed to take on a big UNIX project for Brüel & Kjær.
1985 ... around Denmark
After wearing both country roads and UNIX manuals thin, we ended up at Nymindegab in West Jutland. There we ran into our old electrostatics teacher, Erik Krag, completely by chance.
Suddenly, in the middle of the road, there was a deafening bang, and the predecessor to "UNIX 1" refused to go any further. A genuine core dump: the MG had simply lost its driveshaft!! The trip home was quite interesting. We rode in 8 (eight!) different Falck tow trucks and even got to push the car onto the ferry and off again ourselves. Good thing it was before the bridge was built, or we would probably have had to push the MG all the way across!
1989 SuperUsers on Linstowsvej
Fortunately, UNIX fared better than the MG; UNIX became the future for both of us for many years to come. SuperUsers was born, and we took on many programming and teaching assignments throughout the '80s. When Brian went 100% full-time with SuperUsers in 1989, the upstairs of the little fisherman's cottage on Linstowsvej in Rungsted was still home to SuperUsers.
There wasn't much space, and he wasn't exactly proud when guests came by. The worst was the time Ingvar Dybkjær, then head of courses at Nokia Data, came to visit. Brian had put off the visit several times because he was afraid he couldn't live up to what people might expect from an office. Ingvar Dybkjær showed up in his Sunday best: pressed trousers, white shirt, tie and so on. Brian gasped once more and asked Mr. Dybkjær whether he'd like lunch outside or inside. Mr. Dybkjær replied: "Hold on a second, this looks damn good. Can I borrow a pair of shorts? Then we'll damn well have a beer out in your deck chairs." Need I say that Ingvar and I are best friends today :-)
1990 SuperUsers at Enrum Castle
On 15 February 1990, SuperUsers moved to Enrum Slot in Vedbæk, a fantastic location on top of a slope with a direct view of Øresund. Enrum Slot as we know it today was built in 1862-1864 by Privy Conference Councillor and Count Christian Conrad Sophus Danneskiold-Samsøe (only the finest would do!).
From 1984 to 1989, all of Enrum Slot underwent an impressive restoration, so it was fantastic for us to move in here. At Enrum we had 2 permanent classrooms, and we also made frequent use of Vedbæk Sailing Club's premises down at the harbor. Brian, Lars Bro and Eric Mosegaard helped lay the foundations of SuperUsers as we know it today.
1993 SuperUsers at Karlebogaard
In 1993, SuperUsers moved to Karlebogaard, a fairy-tale estate in North Zealand between Hørsholm and Hillerød.
Karlebogaard was built in 1919–1923 and grew out of the many trips around the world taken by the married couple Mabel and Aage Ancher. On each trip, they brought home entire rooms, wall panels, paintings, furniture, and more from different parts of the world. Eventually, the North Zealand architect Carl Lundquest was given the task of building a mansion based on all the rooms they had brought home. Now that is a fairy tale. Moving that kind of thing across national borders would never fly today.
All the old halls and drawing rooms are open as a restaurant and break areas, and the main building also houses seven classrooms packed with the latest IT. We feel very much at home at KGB, which is what we call Karlebogaard internally).
1999 SuperUsers at Kampehøjgaard
In 1999, SuperUsers expanded in Jutland and took over Kampehøjgaard, a three-winged fieldstone farmhouse in the village of Vorre, which is also the highest-lying settlement in Denmark (117 meters above sea level).
Kampehøjgaard dates from 1870, and there is plenty of room for training rooms, offices, a restaurant, a kitchen and much more. Today there are four training rooms at Kamphøjgaard.
One of the wings is an old cowshed and consists of one large room. There is room for a party here!
2006 Karlebogaard expands
In 2006, we expanded our premises at Karlebogaard: the old horse stable was renovated from the ground up and now stands in a fine classic style with beautifully restored marbling. The rococo garden has been re-created as it was in the old days.
We are very pleased with the extra 450 square meters in the "new" building, which provides both more classrooms and overnight accommodation for our participants.
Karlebogaard's horse stable is an impressive building. The horse stalls can still be seen with their marbled columns, and the saddling room has a large marbled staircase worthy of a palace.
2014 SuperUsers turns 30
In 2014, SuperUsers turned 30. We celebrated with a blast of a party in May 2014, attended by 500 happy people – participants, employees (past and present), friends, family, neighbors – in short, all of SuperUsers' friends!
Brian's band Santanas Venner played music for dancing, there was a hot dog stand, candy, and a popcorn machine and slushie machine for the kids (though the adults were actually the most frequent visitors to the candy tent), there was draft beer, wine and delicious salads, a big striped circus tent, and all the SuperGirls had put on their grand ball gowns for the occasion while the SuperGuys lit up the summer night in their bright orange shirts. It became our very own little SuperWoodstock, which we will always remember fondly!
A really nice course venue in pleasant surroundings that make for a good setting for focused learning. The instructor came across as well prepared, with extensive knowledge of the relevant topics.
The instructor also showed a strong ability to answer any questions that came up during the course.
I never in my wildest dreams imagined that a course venue could be so beautiful. I don't know if it's true, but I have a feeling that the surroundings rub off on the people who work here, so everyone seems incredibly happy.
There's a really great atmosphere. All the way from the woman at the reception desk to the people who work in the kitchen.
It was a real pleasure to take a course at SuperUsers. The week we spent on the course was worth the money and means that we can now save many consultant hours. It's always nice to have the knowledge in-house.
There is a relaxed atmosphere in the classroom, lovely surroundings in the building itself, and skilled instructors who do a really good job.
I started using all the knowledge I soaked up on the course almost right away, and now we are well underway with developing our future cloud solution.
There is no doubt about who we will turn to if we need other courses.
The course venue is so inviting and welcoming that it has been a pleasure to be here. Clean, tidy and full of charm. I attended a course where all the individual parts came together into a greater whole that can hardly be described.
As always, it was a great experience, and you learn a lot in a short time from some very skilled instructors.
I work in Azure almost every day, and both courses have been really good at helping me understand Azure better.
Delicious food, cozy facilities, good structure and atmosphere. I'll be back when I can.
The instructor tailored the course to my level to a very large extent and was flexible. I had very high expectations, and they were exceeded.
Great precision, good exercises, good pace, a great atmosphere and maximum learning.
Absolutely the best course I've ever taken!
This is my first time at SuperUsers. It has been a really good experience. The instructor seems very experienced and competent.
The instructor's strong technical background made the course and the in-depth answers to questions a good experience.
The technical depth of the course was really good. The instructor's knowledge went much deeper than the curriculum necessarily requires.
You could throw all kinds of curveballs at the instructor, and he had it all under control - he also made the content exciting.
We have now completed Microsoft 365 courses for a total of 5 people here in our department. Everyone agrees that it was an excellent course with a skilled instructor and communicator who could discuss and explain things at the right level, while also being efficient and bringing humor.
It has been a really good experience.
It's calm and quiet at SuperUsers' country venue. Good atmosphere and catering. Some thought has gone into healthy eating when it comes to food and cake, so it doesn't get completely out of hand.
The instructor is knowledgeable about the topics and readily puts them in a broader perspective by relating them to other relevant areas. It's rewarding that this is possible too, and it gives you ideas for further study.
In addition, the instructor was engaged and entertaining to have presenting the content.
The instructor is very presentation-oriented and gets you involved in the teaching and the material. He is good at varying the teaching so it never gets monotonous.
It is clear that the instructor has hands-on experience and not just the theory, with many good examples that related to real-world challenges we might encounter.
Good facilities and good food, without drowning in unhealthy habits.
I'll be back the next time I need to take a course. It's a lovely place, the food is fantastic, and the instructor is very knowledgeable and happy to share that knowledge!
Very good course, the instructor was the best. I've been here at SuperUsers before, now I'm here again, and hopefully coming back another time.
The instructor seemed very competent and has extensive knowledge of his field. He was good at explaining things in a clear and humorous way. There were also simple exercises that gave a good understanding.
The instructor was really good at going in depth while still making sure everyone was keeping up. A really nice venue and room, and great food.
There was no doubt that the instructor knew exactly what he was talking about, and even the simplest questions were answered gladly, without anyone being made to feel stupid.
The instructor was very pleasant and the exercises were extremely good. I really learned a lot about the topics the course covered.
On top of that, really nice, calm and green surroundings with good catering - especially good food. I would like to take my courses here again next time.
A lovely, cozy place where the receptionist, the kitchen and the instructors make you feel at home. A good setting makes for good learning. Really good food that helps round out the whole experience of taking a course at SuperUsers.
Really happy with the venue and the stay over in the horse stable. I'll see if I can come back here for the next course I take. A really beautiful building, and great to experience a place like this. A fantastic place to hold a course.
I can't give anything less than 5 stars across the board. Either you're truly in a class of your own, or I've just been to the wrong course venues before. Fantastic place and atmosphere.... once you've learned to find your way around :-)
I got a lot out of the course. It opened my eyes to possibilities I didn't know existed. I'm sure this won't be the last time we're in touch with SuperUsers.
Probably the best course I've ever taken and the best instructor I've ever had!! Really good depth and thorough explanations, and on top of that, fantastic food!!!
