Description
The Managing Microsoft Teams course is for IT professionals who are responsible for Microsoft 365 Teams administration. You learn to configure, deploy, and administer Office 365 workloads in Microsoft Teams to create a streamlined communication platform in an enterprise environment.
The course covers
- Core tools and use of Microsoft Teams, including Teams architecture and Office 365 workloads.
- Implementing governance, security, and compliance in Microsoft Teams.
- Preparing an environment for Microsoft Teams
- Deploying and administering Microsoft Teams
You will gain experience planning and configuring governance for Office 365 groups. You will also implement security solutions by configuring conditional access, MFA, or threat management in Teams.
You are also introduced to implementing compliance for Teams using DLP policies, eDiscovery cases, and supervision policies. Participants also learn about upgrading from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams, including the benefits and what to watch out for during the migration.
In the course, you gain experience configuring network settings in Teams, and you deploy and administer Microsoft Teams endpoints. You also learn to manage teams and users in Teams, both internal and external users. As part of this, you learn about team settings and private channel creation policies.
You will also manage settings for Teams apps, such as app setup policies and apps, bots, and connectors in Microsoft Teams. You also learn to make a custom app available in Microsoft Teams.
Finally, you learn to manage communication in Teams, including Live events, Phone System for Microsoft Teams, and Teams meetings in general. You also get tools for troubleshooting audio, video, and Teams client issues.
