This certification bundle is for you if you want a solid introduction to developing reports in Power BI. The certification documents your experience with and knowledge of the principles and thinking behind DAX in Power BI and Excel Power Pivot.
The bundle starts by giving you a thorough introduction to building a Power BI report from scratch. In SU-777 Power BI Fundamentals, you learn the key points of importing data from data sources and creating a report, including the most important visualizations and filters.
Next comes the course SU-782 DAX Fundamentals, which gives you a thorough introduction to the key concepts behind DAX, the language that drives all calculations in Power BI. The course includes an in-depth review of Execution Contexts and the five properties of the CALCULATE/CALCULATETABLE functions, which are central to Measures. This gives you the freedom to program Measures and calculations yourself, including those that cannot be created with drag-and-drop in Power BI or Excel Power Pivot.
In SU-780 Data Modeling in Power BI, you gain the understanding you need to build and structure an effective data model, the foundation of every well-designed report. Among other things, you learn about relationship types, star schemas and how to avoid common modeling pitfalls. The course prepares you to ensure performance, scalability and data integrity in your reporting solutions.
Please note that the bundle does not focus on the Power BI service, where end users access their reports. If you want to manage report security and end users' access to reports, including which data their reports may contain, we recommend adding the course PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst.

It's calm and quiet at SuperUsers' country venue. Good atmosphere and catering. Some thought has gone into healthy eating when it comes to food and cake, so it doesn't get completely out of hand.
The instructor is knowledgeable about the topics and readily puts them in a broader perspective by relating them to other relevant areas. It's rewarding that this is possible too, and it gives you ideas for further study.
