AI plays a growing role in modern IT solutions, from data analysis and automation to prediction and decision support. Our hands-on AI courses and certifications are for developers and data professionals who want to build intelligent AI solutions on their own data.
For us, it's not about hype but about explaining how AI works, where it creates value, and how to implement it responsibly. With the right AI skills, both you and your organization are in a stronger position.
Which AI program should you choose? Get the answer in this video
AI programs: From concepts to implementation
Our AI course programs are tailored to developers and data professionals who want the knowledge and hands-on experience to build and implement AI solutions based on their own data.
We start by giving you a solid understanding of key AI concepts and architecture, and build on that with Python and data analysis – the foundation for most AI solutions.
After that, you can specialize in either Machine & Deep Learning or LLMs and Generative AI, with a focus on models, workflows and use in real-world systems.
Watch the video above for a technical overview of the course programs, certifications and your options.
Flexible structure – start where you are
Depending on your experience and prerequisites, you can start at different points in the program. The AI courses are built in clear steps:
- Understand AI concepts: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI and more
- Learn Python and data analysis: The foundation for most AI solutions
- Choose your specialization track:
- Machine & Deep Learning
- Generative AI & LLM development

More about our hands-on AI courses
First step: Introduction to AI
Your AI program can start with one of our 1-day introductory courses, which give you a solid overview of key AI concepts and applications, as well as ChatGPT. The courses have no prerequisites and are suitable for anyone who wants to get started with AI.
Artificial Intelligence – Overview and Perspectives (SU-600)
- Get a clear understanding of what AI is and what terms like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) cover. We give you concrete examples, and you gain perspective on how AI affects our society today – and tomorrow.
Introduction to ChatGPT (SU-610)
- A hands-on course in using ChatGPT and LLMs. You learn to work effectively with ChatGPT, write better prompts and get an overview of the most widely used LLMs on the market. Get practical experience with a technology that is revolutionizing the way we work.
Second step: Python and Data Analysis
Once you have that in place, it’s time to learn Python, the world’s most popular programming language and the cornerstone of the vast majority of AI solutions. Complete both courses and exams and become certified as an SCD – Python Data Analyst.
- Get started coding in Python. You work hands-on with the language, modules and packages and build a solid foundation – whether you want to use Python for data science, machine learning, scripting or development.
Python and Data Analysis (SU-228)
- Build on your Python skills and learn to work professionally with data. You use libraries such as Pandas, NumPy and Matplotlib to load, structure, clean, analyze and visualize data, and learn to master Excel’s big brother: data analysis with Python!
Third step: Machine/Deep Learning or Generative AI?
Once you have a handle on Python and data, there are two directions you can choose as an AI developer. Both build on machine learning and neural networks but are used for different types of projects. You choose your track based on the data you work with and the solutions you want to build. You can earn SCDP certifications in both tracks.
Machine Learning & Deep Learning
For those who work with data other than, for example, text and speech, and want to build models that can predict, classify and find patterns in data. Instead of programming the solution step by step, you train models with data – classic Machine Learning or Deep Learning with neural networks. Examples include medical diagnostics, production management, weather models, market price forecasting, fraud monitoring and self-driving cars.
AI Machine Learning Fundamentals (SU-630)
- Learn to work with classic Machine Learning algorithms for prediction and classification. You get hands-on experience selecting, training and evaluating models and learn how ML is applied in practice to structured data.
AI Deep Learning and Neural Networks (SU-640)
- Dive into neural networks – the foundation of much of modern AI. You learn how Deep Learning models are built and trained, and work hands-on with neural networks for more complex problems.
Generative AI & LLM
For you who want to work with generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). The courses are for you if you want to build new applications or extend existing systems with trained models such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and others, where you give the system a text/speech input and get a text/speech response back. Your data might come from customer service, articles, emails and product descriptions, legal documents, meeting minutes, SOPs and programming help, for example.
Generative AI and LLM – Fundamental applications (SU-650)
- Learn how LLMs work and how they are used in practice. You learn to write effective prompts, work with APIs such as OpenAI and Hugging Face, and integrate LLMs into Python programs. You get the foundation for working professionally with generative AI as a developer.
Generative AI and LLM – Python developer (SU-660)
- Learn to integrate Python with existing LLMs, build AI solutions with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), add your own data to LLM queries and build controlled workflows with LangChain. You also learn to evaluate and improve the quality of AI output, including handling hallucinations.
