Description
In this course, you gain a solid understanding of how to plan and implement an endpoint deployment strategy in a Microsoft 365 environment.
The course goes in depth into the most important elements of Microsoft Intune integration and modern management. It covers app deployment, management of browser-based applications and key security concepts such as authentication, identities, and access and compliance policies.
You learn how to use MDM (Mobile Device Management) and MAM (Mobile Application Management) to separate and protect the organization's data from users' personal data. You also learn how to ensure that devices running different operating systems can access the organization's data from different locations and platforms.
You also build skills in Microsoft Entra ID and Azure Information Protection, and the course covers Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps as they relate to strengthening the security of data and devices in your organization.
Along the way, we compare on-premises methods with cloud solutions and weigh the pros and cons of the different scenarios. In the course, you practice planning and configuring different deployment methods, covering both on-premises and cloud solutions.
We look at what it takes to implement Microsoft Intune in an organization and how Intune is used to manage computers and other mobile devices. Intune manages endpoints, which can be anything from Windows clients to iOS, Android, Linux, ChromeOS and macOS. Throughout the course, there are plenty of hands-on labs, so you get to use the tools in practice.
The course is aimed at, among others, IT professionals who support clients and devices in an organization. However, it is also highly relevant for IT staff and organizations that already use cloud solutions but want to learn more about new functionality available for cloud management.
