Description
This course replaces PL-200 Power Platform Functional Consultant and reflects how the role of app maker and functional consultant on Power Platform has changed. Where the job used to be mainly about configuring existing platform features, it is now about designing solutions with AI and agents built in from the start.
The course gives you a complete picture of how the components of Power Platform work together and how to use AI to make apps more productive and user-friendly. We have chosen to run the course over 4 days instead of 3, so there is enough time for exercises, hands-on work and in-depth practice. This gives you more out of the course and a better chance to turn what you learn into concrete solutions afterward.
You start with the generative AI foundation: how to write and improve prompts, and where AI actually adds value in a solution. From there, you work with AI-powered Plans, which help you turn a business need into a concrete solution structure. You build the data model in Dataverse, control access with security roles, and build both canvas apps and model-driven apps tailored to different user roles.
The course also covers how to expose data externally with Power Pages and how to automate processes and approval flows with Power Automate. Finally, you work with the AI-specific building blocks: grounded prompts in AI Builder, which let users ask questions about data in natural language, and agents in Copilot Studio, which you build, evaluate and publish. The course is built around a single practical scenario that runs throughout, so you see the components working together in a realistic solution rather than one at a time.
Governance and responsible use of AI are part of the work throughout the course, so you learn not only how to build, but how to build in a way that meets the requirements of a business environment.

The course is relevant if you work as an app maker, functional consultant or business analyst and want to be able to design and build AI-powered solutions on Power Platform. You do not need prior experience with AI, copilots or agents.
