Description

In this course, you learn to prepare and install Windows Server and to plan an upgrade and migration strategy. You get insight into local storage, partition tables, file systems, virtual hard disks, and how to manage disks. You go through Storage Spaces and Data Deduplication and try them out. You also get hands-on experience installing and configuring Microsoft Hyper-V and configuring virtual machines.

The course covers Windows containers, and you learn about the various high availability and disaster recovery technologies available in Windows Server. You also gain know-how in planning, creating and managing a failover cluster with virtual machines. Finally, you learn to create images for deployment and to manage, monitor and maintain virtual machines.

Although the course and its labs are based on Windows Server 2022, you can also apply what you learn to Server 2016 and 2019.

The course and labs also focus on managing Windows Server, not just with traditional tools such as Server Manager and PowerShell, but also with Windows Admin Center.
