Description

In this course, you learn about the different aspects of DevOps and gain expertise in designing and implementing DevOps processes and strategies in Azure DevOps.

We dive into planning, automation, development, testing and feedback optimization. You learn methods and tools that let you move changes into production much faster and implement new business requirements in agile settings.

One way to do this is to have a shared codebase for application code and infrastructure, which enables continuous integration, testing, delivery, monitoring and feedback.

The Azure DevOps tools and methods you learn in the course help improve communication and collaboration between developers and operations staff during development and deployment processes. In short, DevOps solutions let you streamline the entire development and deployment process and make it more efficient.

At a high level, this course covers:

  • Get started on a DevOps transformation journey
  • Development for enterprise DevOps
  • Implement CI with Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions
  • Design and implement a release strategy
  • Implement a secure continuous deployment using Azure Pipelines
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Azure and DSC
  • Implement security and validate code bases for compliance
  • Design and implement a dependency management strategy
  • Implement continuous feedback
